Take Heart is delighted to partner with The Trussell trust to provide food and essential household items to those most in need in our community. Run entirely by volunteers, our foodbank is open each Tuesday and Thursday from 12 noon to 2pm.
We operate on a referral basis in partnership with many local groups and organisation. This ensures that we serve those most in need. We are extremely grateful for the endless generosity shown by Tesco and Asda customers each week who donate most of our food stock. We are also grateful for the various ad-hoc donations made by individuals and local businesses.
We are also grateful to those who contribute financially to the Foodbank. Finances are vital if we are to provide the best possible service to those in our community. Contributions can be made via the foodbank’s website or by requesting a standing order and/or gift aid form. New volunteers are always welcome. Tasks include warehouse/stock management, greeting clients and donation collections.
